or can you burn movies at a faster burn? Like 8X with no probs?

i use 2x for games and 4x for movies. I tried 8x, but the movie kept freezing. It probably depends on the quality of your discs and the quality of your dvd player.

I burn PS2 games @ 4x speed on Ritek G05 -R's

I burn Movies @ 8x speed on Vakoss +R's

Never had problems with either..

i use the same speed DVD's for both, 8X
so i burn both games and movies at 4X
no problems yet.
