Hey,

Does this game need any special procedures? Because i was backing up my mates game (he doesnt have a dvd burner) and i burnt it on a -r and +r the +r didnt work at all it gave the not a valid ps2 disc and the -r worked and the froze when trying to load the menu screen. What should i try ? I used verbatim -r and TDK +r and dvd decryptor at 2x speed.

mine is backed up with verbatim -r. try burning at 4x with Nero. ive had trouble when burning with dvd decryptor

I tried it with Nero, and it gets to the "smackdown Vs raw" loading page then sits there :( ill give it to my mate and see if it works for him? I did it on a +r as thats what he gave me and at 4x.

It depends which version PS2 he has. PS2 v.1-4 don't read DVD+R's well at all. Even if he has a v5 PS2 or later, it's always better to use DVD-R's. He has a v7 ps2, and my burner does support book typing as i did it before with dvd decryptor. i will see what happens and let you know if it worked :)

Hey, nah this is his ACTUAL game, like store bought. Hes backing all his wrestling games up as he loves them and doesnt want them to get ruined.

Well when i give him the game today ill see if it works and let you know what happens :)

You have to replace a dummy file in the AllStars version, and it works 100%, should not be nuked anywhere. You have to replace Dummy files in lots of games.
