Can I Backup Games?

hey all, im new :)

i came here from google looking for a way to back up my games for ps2. becasue in my house hold things get broken and i have already got onto my last copy of GTA SA :S
i just wanted to know if it is possible to back up your games and rewrite them for future use, but with out having this chip thing put into you ps2.

Check out the link in my signature... it'll take you to the swap magic site and tell you what you need for backed up games to work in your ps2. That's the ONLY other option to a modchip... you need either of those things to play backed up games in your ps2.
It is worth the small expense though, to know that you can keep your original discs in good order and then if you scratch your backups to hell...then you can just burn another copy.
Please know though that you need at least a half decent computer and a dvd writer to copy the games.

thanks. ah so backing up games dont come for free then. im not a big fan of buying online, just dont trust it :S
