Best current deals on Taiyo Yuden dvd-r or other quality media

I have only used Taiyo Yuden dvd-r when I burn movies on my computer and I have had no problems (I only buy them from SuperMediaStore or meritline.com because I don?t want to risk getting fake media).

Both of these online stores seem to have good deals and I was considering using another brand.

For example, Supermediastore has the following for $48: Ritek 4X DVD-R White Inkjet Printable with Arita Logo in the Hub 200 Pack in Plastic Wrap


I only burn at 4x even though my dvd burner can burn at a higher rate, because I prefer to take the extra few minutes and greatly reduce the chance of making coasters ? so for me, there is no reason to pay extra for 8 or 16X.


Anyone have any strong opinions as to GREAT quality media for a great deal? If you find something else, please post the link so I can go right there and perhaps buy.

Until the 12th Office Depot has thier branded media on sale for a buy 1 get one free 50pc cake box DVD+R's for $24.99. These id as Ritek R03-02. So you get 100 for $24.99 plus tax.

Excellent media.

Those Arita branded disc are junk ive got 500 of them from supermedia store.The dye side of the disc are so defective they are useless.If you want the ritek's make sure there ridata branded Ive had no problems at all with the ridata in both the + and - 8X.

Bought the last 3 packs on the shelf today at my local Office Depot. Asked if they had anymore in the back and none available.
