Hi all
can you help me please.
I have had my x box chipped and i want to start copying my own games, for backup purposes only, but i have no options when i turn on my console, it just says evo x and then i just put in the game to start playing.
I have got my mate to make me a cross over cable as i will be doing direct from my pc modem to x box.
Is there anything I can do or will I just have to live wih it?

sounds like you've been "soft" modded to me.

this is a way to make the xbox play copies WITHOUT actually putting anything new inside.

you will have to be content ftping the games straight from your xbox dvd drive to your pc.

You are able to backup xbox game if you can FTP between PC and Xbox.
Here is the tut how to do it.

Hi guys
Much appreciated you answering my plee.
So ftp is file transfer protocol, sorry i am new to this and feel a little out of touch.
Thank you guys but I need a nursery school guide, how many really genuine lazy people have you met.
So my mate making me a cross over cable was a bit of a waste then, not that it cost me anything, good thing about having an electritian as a good mate.
What is all this xbox your IP address with yoour PC business?

yes, you will need the crossover cable to FTP from the
PC to Xbox and back.
look at the FTP tutorials here,

and also how to set up connection
sharing on your PC.
on the main page there is also a chat support function and someone there may be able to talk you through it.

i use splinter cell to softmod my xbox and i tried to get on xbox live after deleting my mod and i got an error code 13 as i was loading my game. i was wondering how to get my msdashboard back plz.
