Burnt discs dont play after awhile.

I recently had my ps slimline modded with an Apple Chipa nd the neofix chip which protects the laser. However I have noitced that after only a few days to a week of playing burnt games my son cant seemt o play them anymore. They hang on loading screens or there is no audio or the audio skips and jumps. One game I had burnt lasted two days, before it started giving us trouble. The discs have minor scratches on them but nothing too serious.

Could it be these minor scratches thats causing the problem or soemthing else? I use Verbatim DVD+R to burn too.

the later versions of the ps2 like the slimline version dont like the +r format very much. try with verbatim -r and see if that makes a difference.
