What speed (2x, 2.5x, 4x) do you burn your PS2 game on ???

I used to burn it at 2.5x but now some ppl suggest me burning at 4x for better result. Is it true ? how fast do you burn your PS2 game ?

It differs between each person and totally depends on the quality of media as the better the quality the likely success is, personally i always burn at x4 of course that's only when i cant be bothered putting it onto my Ps2 hdd but if there's problems i will slow it down a bit but to x2.5 and x8 well i don't go there as swap magic always gives me the Not A Ps2 Disk thingy, overall the best person to find out whats best for you is you, just try different things till you get something that works for you because what may work for me or the next person may not work for you.

p4_tt is right on the mark - it's a matter of trial and error. I generally burn all of my games at 8x (though I have a Matrix Inf chip) on good quality media, namely Riteks. I've used media which is 8x certified, namely TDK, but I usually get read errors with this media if I burn at 8x, though 4x is fine. Happy experimenting!

4X for me whether it 4X or 8X media. I have an 8X burner and I use Swap Magic.

i burn at 2x but never tried at 4x so i dont know if it will work but im assuming it will.
