Ok, so I get a error message whenever I try to burn now:
This is what comes up
DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
Failed to read file "D:\"
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
After the erorr, I close everything dow, but my burner does not eject the disk. I need to rebbot in order to open the tray.
Any ideas on what the problem is?

I am using DVD shrink and retail AnyDVD.
Same think happens with dydrypter

What's discs are you trying to back up? For some of the newer copy protections that shrink can't handle you may this error. Or it's just the regularly crc error - discs are dirty,scratched bad press. Try cleaning them off also

I think i got it going now. The drisk was pretty "smuggy" with prints.

depends on the burner - if it's bad enuf may not. I've had some bad ones where I have had to restart.
