I am new to backing up dvd's. I have searched forums and have not been able to find a solution. I have succesfully backed up dvd5 and they play on my set top player. I am trying to backup a dvd9 with menu and movie. I am not interested in the extra features. I am following the guide on the IFOedit site. I rip the dvd with smartripper 2.41. I then use ifoedit .95 to make it region free. I play it using ifoedit play button to identify title sets needed vts_01_x.xxx, vts_02_x.xxx and vts_05_x.xxx. I include these files along with the Video_ts.x files in a folder "VIDEO_TS". The movie plays fine with ifoedit dvd play button. I then run get vts sectors in ifoedit. When I try to burn using RecordNow Max V4.5 it immediately errors out with a message " data job terminated with errors". If I disable recognize VIDEO_TS according to DVD specifications tab this error does not appear but the disk is unplayable in my set top player. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running windows 2k and have a Sony DRU 500A with 1.0G firmware.
