Hi,
Im really new to all of this and i have read alot of the forums and still doesnt help me..

I have just recently bought a dvd burner
the Swap Magic v3.6 combo
a flip top for the slimer ps2
and dvd+rws for burning backup ps2 games

I burned the iso (soul caliber III) to the dvd+rw and used the dvd boot disk from the Swap Magic v3.6 but it says "not valid ps2 disk" and when i boot the disk up it never gave me a please insert disk screen just the start up screen with screen mode and boot program so my question is this can anyone give me step by step instructions on what i was doing wrong and what to do more then likely i have already tried most methods here so i dont understand why i cant play the disk or why its not valid...

Your problem could be that you are using DVD-RW's. You should try DVD-R's.

As far as SM 3.6 goes, when it loads, it should say "Load Game" (something to that nature) and that is when you switch the 3.6 disc for the burn and then hit "x".
