Can i play ps1 games on my ps2 with swap magic?

I know that swap magic can't play ps1 backups but is there an elf that will boot ps1 games on my ps2 slim? I don't want to buy any thing else for this just a few cdrs.

not sure about an elf but you could download the image for the breaker pro cd. load up swap magic cd version and use that to boot your burned breaker pro cd and then boot your ps1 game. not sure if that helps

Isnt breaker pro a ps1 disc. It can't be a ps2 disc if you can use it on ps1.

Righto, the Breaker Pro is a PS1 disc, which is why it works with PSOnes as well.

And as for an ELF they dont work on the slim. So your only option is to buy Breaker Pro.

You can't put an exploit on your memroy card with the slim ps2, but you can launch elfs with other methods such as this:

BTW will Cogswap or cdloader boot ps1 backups?

the breaker pro disc works on both the ps1 and ps2
