My friends cousin moved here from germany. he brought his ps2. it displays black and white on NTSC tvs. and somtimes the screen rolls.

any way we can get his machine working on ntsc tv?

Video games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching on pills, and listening to repetitive music...

Sounds like youre friends Coz has a PAL PS2 which will roll around and flicker when you plug it into a NTSC tv.
You can remedy this by buying a PAL to NTSC signal converter or backing up the game and patching it with a PAL to NTSC fix.
