Hi list, newbie here. xbox is soft modded with evolutionx. i tried to upgrade my hard disk(seagate 80 gig) using xboxhdm v1.9. The problem is when i use my new hard disk in my xbox its booting to the xboxdash and not to evox. xboxhdm copied all the contents of C and E to my new hdisk.
dont know if this helps to solve but my bios info
Bios version (256)4817 Retail,kernel version 1.00.4817.01
I'm stumped, pls help TIA!

is your harddisk intregrated to your xbox?
if it is you should have no problem cause it will be in evox automatically.
if it's not, you should intregrate it first.
You can do it yourself or do it in a computershop.
to intregrate you have to connect the harddisk 6.44 connector (the little gate in your harddisk) to the xbox connector.(the gate backwards of the video/audiocard)
then it should work.

Anyway bro...Do you have ftp access, or a boot disc. What softmod did you use?? Should be C:\evoxdash.xbe somewhere.

and in E: all are folders

The original disk is exactly the same with my new disk( I think) using xboxhdm but the original disk will boot straight to evox and the new one doesnt!
is there any file or whatever to let it default to evox when it boots? My evox xbe is in e:\dashboard\default.xbe

sorry i dont know the softmod used, i paid someone to softmod my xbox. i tried to call but hes not answering my call @#$*@#$!!! i tried copying/renaming the evox xbe to c:\evoxdash.xbe and also c:\default.xbe but i get error message in tv screen this is through xboxhdm....i will try again using ftp in the boot disc...thanks bro!

i was able to make it work using xboxhdm and UDE_v1.4! now im ripping all my games to my 80 gig hdisk(thinking of getting a bigger one ^-^ ! shame, i cant play nba live 06 in my hdisk! any crack yet?
