I am a new DVD Shrink user and although I have decrypted a few movies and used DVD Shrink this is the first time I have come across a problem that I could not solve by running either running DVD Decrypter by itself or AnyDVD in the background or just DVD Shrink or AnyDVD in the background
THis is what AnyDVD says

So you've tried this movie with AnyDVD running behind DVD Shrink? How about open up DVD Decrypter. Go to Tools->Settings->I/O and set it like so:
Click OK. Make sure AnyDVD is running and try with DVD Decrypter in File mode again.

i had this same thing happen to me. all i did was exchange for a new one and it copy just fine. your error said it found a bad sector. just get a new one. decrypter can't read that error on the disc, just exchange it for a new one.

I did this one before it was released and had no problems with it at all. At the time I was using DVD4free, DVD Decrypter and burned with Shrink.

I was having the same problem. I returned the DVD 3 times and still nothing. I tried Fab Decrypter and got this message :( Get DVD information Fail : 4096) Also DVD Decrytper anf got (I/O error) both while AnyDVD was running in the background and still no luck.
Any advice?

I tried changing the settings and still get error messages this is the new message I:( Get DVD information Fail : 4096)
Also DVD Decrytper anf got (I/O error) both while AnyDVD was running in the background and without to see if it made a differents
Still no luck!

Return DVD Decrypter to default settings. - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=54187
Close down AnyDVD, DVD43, or any other copyright bypassing software while your using DVD Decrypter.
After doing those 3, try to rip the disc again.

I tried all those suggestions and it always stops at 93%. I'm getting very frustrated !

I backed up Christmas with the Kranks using DVD Shrink while running AnyDVD in the background. It worked flawlessly.

As I was doing it I got all the same messages until here

harrumph!. DVD Shrink nor DVD Decrypter would even analyse this movie, never mind encode it. so tried my first stab at dvdfab express (not tried it before and i don't have anydvd). dvdfab express sorted it, and DVD Shrink has just finished it's thing..

Man this is Fucked up, I also have been trying like crazy to rip this movie but no luck. dvdShrink nor DVD Decrypter can read this movie. Even if I ignore it will only do 93% I also tried Fabdvd and it says error 0496. I dont know what that means.(All these where using AnyDVD running in the backround.) If anybody knows how to rip this movie please help.

I was having the same problem but instead of encoding it from my DVD Rom, I encoded from my burner instead using Fab DVD Express using AnyDVD. Then I rip it using Shrink
Worked great!

what burner are you talking about. I was only able to copy the movie but not the special features or anything else. just the main movie. so does anybody know how to copy the whole entire movie including scene selection and all the good stuff?
