I want to make the backups, and i see lots of guides here, there are lots of different ways to do it, but i did it once last year and there were so many programs to use and SO MANY steps i just gave up. Now i would like to try again. Really all i want off a dvd is the actual movie for the backup, i dont need any of the special features,
please let me know,

now i see AnyDVD seems easier, so there is an easier way, if i get that is there a guide for it too, taht way i dont screw anything up no matter how easy it is?

If you find things "difficult," and you're willing to "pay some" just buy two copies of the original.

As far as I know, there is not guide for AnyDVD. It is simply a program that runs in the background and helps you burn a DVD -- it removes encryptions. I use CloneDVD2 & AnyDVD and haven't had a problem in over 6 months. Both of these programs have free trials. I bought both programs and use them almost exclusively. There is a $10 discount for AfterDawn users.
If you use the guides from either ScubPete or bbmayo, I guarantee you that you will find burning dvd's to be very easy. I used them and I did not know diddly-squat about burning before using the guides. I printed them out and keep them right by the pc. There are a number of people on here that also have guides and know a hell of a lot about burning. You came to the right place.

I wrote a poem on this b'out called.. Angles of Percecption,
seems there should have been, another stanza; called, Broken mirrors, and their reflections.
