Pro Evo 5 - UDP Port Problem - Connecting Online

Hi,
I have a backup of Pro Evo 5. It has been patched to work online. When I click "Online" in the main menu it does all the tests etc as usual but once it gets to the "Testing Network Environment" I get a message coming up as follows....
Unable to transmit using UDP port 5730. You may need to connect directly to the internet or adjust your connection device ie. router settings etc. Assign DMZ,Port Mapping, Configure NAT Table and other router settings to the console. Individual products may use unique terminology.
I'm not quite sure why this is coming up because I can play any other backuped game online fine.
Someone please help me ASAP.

whats your method of connecting. are you using internet connection sharing , router etc.

Just follow the directions listed under default guide if you don't see Pro Evo 5 listed under programs.

What is meant by "Enter the private ip address to forward these ports to in the Host IP Address box."

Not sure. Did you type the IP address of your router into your web browser?

Yes, but I'm just not quite sure what to put in "Host IP Address". Is it the address that I put in my web browser??

That should be your IP addess. Go to Control Panel-->Network and Internet Connections-->Network Connections and single click on the connection you use to get online. Under the details heading on the left side of the screen, it should show your IP address. I think that's what it wants.

Are you networked to another computer via wireless USB adapter or some other means?

I have this..
Router -> Network Switch (4 port)
Port #1 PC 1
Port #2 PC 2
Port #3 PlayStation 2
It is all wired not wireless.

th simple way for never have problems in any ps2 game online is just to make dmz on the ip u use for the ps2 if it´s a linksys simple go to the admin router page and on "aplication gamming" u have a dmz tab, enable it and insert your ip for the ps2, all ports will be unlocked for that ip

You can do that, but DMZ mode makes you very vulnerable to hackers. Take down your email as it's against forum rules. I don't know, I think you just need to some searching for your particular router. Use google, check your manufacturer's site, there is info on the web.

can any one help. I can't seem to regester on pro eno 5 would some one setup and reg for me
Taken the piss I know.
The only thing left i can think to do.
Problem is when I try to regester it says UNABLE TO REGESTER.

Having same problem it says register you fill details in but you cant complete it try going to lobby says verification problem and stuff??
