I was just wondering what, if any, is the purpose of the infrared port on the PSP, other than for sharing things between PSPs....

I would have been nice if we could have transfered stuff to the PSP via the Infrared port.

IR: File Sharing. Homebrew TV remotes.
INTERNET and NETWORKING and MULTIPLAYER is NOT done with IR. Its doen with WiFi.
