ive been burning dvd +/- r's i just however purchased 20 Verbatim DVD + R DL Discs and was wondering what programs are the best to use and how exactly i can burn multiple movies on the disc please point to whatever programs or guides there are out there thank you

So now you have 8.5 Gb to play with instead of 4.5 Gb. That means you can do an exact copy DVD9 to DVD9 with no compression. Or you can take a few DVD5 movies, and get them on to a DVD9 with no compression, if you go for the movies only.
Here are some guides on using DVD Shrink, and DVD Decrypter, a couple of programs you will want to have.

In Shrink you can go to re-author mode and once your target size is changed to the 8.5 Gb DVD9 size, you just keep putting movies in, until you hit the limit, or start compressing too much. There are probably more guides out there, i just cant seem to find any specifically covering DVD9 DL discs.
You can get all the software here at AD under the software tab under DVD Rippers. If you have Nero, it is usefull also. Don't go out and buy any programs at first. just try the free ones. Every movie out there can be ripped by free programs.
