Hi, I backed up Bionicle 3 via dvdfabdecrypter 2.9.5.2 to the hd and then used nero recode to format (burn to dvd-5 single layer -r disk with nero 6.6). At one point had a problem , but brought up the uncompressed file from c drive while recode did it's number and no problems. Dvdfabdecrypter ( and is FREE , not a trial version ) can be found at afterdawn or at dvdidle.com .Hope this helps. By the way, mine is a region 1 disc.

that error refers to a dirty or scratched disc.It means the laser cant read the files on the disc so therefore cant proceed. Is the disc dirty or scratched

it is not unknown for the disc manufacturers to put a damaged vob file in the disc to minise people from succeeding in copying it.If all else fails try using isobuster to recover the disc to your hard drive and maybe dvd decrypter to get it to disc.

I had the same problem (even using AnyDVD and DVD Shrink), but I ran it through VOB Blanker and got it to rip fine.
