I use nero a lot!!?? However, after a recent "on-line" update, each time I open the nero start smart program, It places a shortcut icon on the desktop with an offer from nero for an "online upgrade" not free????

Has anyone else noticed this annoying bug, since an update, on or about version 16.6.0.16??? it is annoying the #^&**^OUT OF ME!!!!!

Go into the setting and dis select auto update.

I have searched all the the avaiable tabs...can you be more specific as to where and how this is done!!!

So far....I have not found this de-select updates???

uninstall and reinstall it will give you an option of wheather to auto update or not.
