Newbie Help Please - Winrar and DVD Decrypter

Totally new to the decrypter and have a problem creating an image file so I can burn it using Nero.
At the moment it saves all my burnt files to my HDD as a winrar file, from which I have to them un archive to another folder which makes the process time longer.
Am I missing something obvious here as I was led to believe that it could easily be configured to create an img file for Nero.
Don't want to burn the unpacked files yet as it will be going on a dual layer dvd which ain't that cheap yet

Just found that the ISO file that is created is also a WinRAR extension, which explains why it can open it.
As there are 2 files created when ripping how does that equate to burning the image with Nero? - as Nero only usually generates one image file when burning stuff to HDD

And finally.....my first dual layer coaster.....
It works fine in my dvdrom player on my PC but does not work on any of my three other standalone dvd players
