I need help please.

This is a simple problem. I bridge my connections together. When I turn my computer on, my xbox connects fine like it should. Then after a cupple minutes, I get disconnected. No matter what I do I can't get it to connect again. Then I restart my computer and it works again, but only a cupple minutes again. Every time I restart my computer, it works for a few minutes. After about 4 days of trying to figure out why, I find out that my windows firewall is on on my internet connection when my computer starts. When it is on, my xbox can connect perfect. Then after a cupple minutes my firewall goes off for some reason, and I get disconnected. So I know I need this firewall on for me to connect, but it won't stay on for some reason. Does anyone know how to get it to stay on like it should.

Just so everyone knows, on the connection screen, when the firewall is on, it shows a little lock on the connection. This is when it is working. Then it changes to a little black check mark and I get disconnected and I have to put it back on.

Also you should know that I had this working for a while now, and then a lightning storm came and shut my power off just long enough to turn my xbox and my laptop off. Ever since that unexpected shutdown, it hasn't worked. This is to much of a coincidence for me.

Again any help is appriciated and I am sorry for this long post.
