ok, I just got into the burning scene, I've burnt about 10 games perfectly with dvd decypter and verbatim dvd-r's....but just a little while ago, I tried to burn need for speed most wanted, and something went wrong.

the game looks like its working well, but the image keeps scrolling down really fast, (you know, like an old tv with a bad signal; the picture looks like its just rolling downward)

and I burnt this game to 2 diffrent blanks with the same problem.
same process same blanks but diffrent results, im thinking I got a bad rip.

Did you download this game? If so could you have download a PAL game? If so how do you have your PS2 modded? If you use swap magic on the video mode choose: NTSC Mode then play it.

A. Use Adrenaline patcher if it's an EA game: http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_files.shtml#ADRenalin%20Patcher Note: I've been told this works for non EA games as well. The screen won't be perfectly centered, unless you have a modchip that forces video mode.

thanx guyz, I tried playing it in NTSC mode and it worked. the image isnt 100% centered-its looks like its 2 inches lower than it should be.

btw, I downloaded the patch, but how do I patch this game?

is the patching process the same for every game?

Way off topic, but Tokijin... I'm so glad you got rid of the DBZ image. I'm an anime fan from way back and sure, DBZ was the sh*t back in the day and served it's purpose when the US was in very short supply of quality titles, but there are so many better shows out there. =P

Lol. Yeah I still love DBZ, but god knows the plot is awful. Besides which Tokijin is Sesshomaru's sword in Inuyasha, and that's where my nick comes from. Sesshomaru is the shiite. I have a giant wall scroll of em in my room. Patcher instructions:
From Fluper: After you get the patcher, open it, browse for the ISO file, and then choose the option .PAL>NTSC. Make sure you don't choose undo PAL>NTSC

After that it'll search for locations to patch....it should fine some or at least one. It'll prompt you to proceed, so just say yes.

Then you're done. just burn the game with the burner of your choice.

@gravyPOOP-I didnt know it was a PAL game, it didnt say so in the torrent title, it just said "Need for Speed Most Wanted(PS2DVD)"...if it said PAL I wouldnt of got it in the 1st place....
