The error would typically mean a problem with the IFOs or the fact that DVD Shrink can't backup movies with Sony's DVD protection system ARccOS?.

Try the free DVDFab decrypter and see if that helps. It handles most of the newer encryptions. Available at http://www.filepedia.com

If that doesn't work get AnyDVD from http://www.slysoft.com. It is a purchase program, but does have a 21 day free trial and offers a discount to AD members.

I have it and they (slysoft)keep it updated for new encryptions. I have had three updates in as many days. :-}

DL DVD FabDecrypter it will handle the new protection, then rip your movie to your HDD and proceed with Shrink. Here is a guide

it is the latest version of any DVD, I get the same errors and it is not Sony related, I downloaded an older version and it works fine now.

There is a problem with the new ver. of AnyDVD and Nero Recode. You can read up on it here, there is a beta ver. of the software if you want to try it.

I rolled back my AnyDVD to ver. 5.6.3.1

No more errors.

I will try the beta version after i read that it is OK on here.

Or Slysoft releases it on it's site. Till then older version seems like it works just fine.

You are welcome, I know I thought they had it fixed but guess not. I dl the beta but I think I will wait. I usually have been ripping to my HDD anyway in case I decide to use Rebuilder so have really not been having the problem with Recode.
