DMS4 EZI Lite (Solderless)
I have no soldering experience and want to Modchip my PS2 version3.

will this chip work?

A v3 might not have the best time reading burned media since it is such an old laser, but if you use good quality blanks it should be ok.

I've heard lots of people complain their EZI chips have problems during installation. Soldering is still the best way to go... it might be worthwhile to have someone solder in a chip for you.

i know people who love their DMS4 EZI chips.
I agree that a soldered in chip is the way to go.
But if you can't solder then it may be the best one for you.
But be VERY CAREFUL when you install it and take your time!
you screw up the oins or anything like that and you just wasted
your money.
Also know that after you install the chip you will have to
flash it with ToxicBIOS v1.3 so it works correctly and has
all the latest features.
