Shadow of rome PAL backup freezes, Please Help!

I used the patch and everything works fine till I rescued the soldier in the Barbarian fort, then he said "I'm sorry Centurion". And the game freezed, it always freezed on this spot. I tried to re-backup this game with different speed and still getting the same result, can anyone help?

can you make another iso without the patch?if so you could rearrange the files to get the games to work.but i dont think it will work with an already patched iso.

Have you tried both Adr Patcher and PAL2NTSC patcher with Y-fix?

A. Use Adrenaline patcher if it's an EA game: http://www.megagames.com/ps2/ps2_utils_files.shtml#ADRenalin%20Patcher Note: I've been told this works for non EA games as well. The screen won't be perfectly centered, unless you have a modchip that forces video mode.

Well, SOR PAL has both 50HZ and 60HZ mode, so I don't really have to patch it to NTSC. However, this is definitely the first backup which doesn't work on my ps2. I start to suspect it's the problem of ISO itself.

Then try burning at different speeds. Slow down to 2x. Use DVD Decrypter. If it still freezes it can't hurt to try patching it. Use good media like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek, TDK, Maxell, Sony, or Phillips DVD-R's.
