I've been trying to find the info I need for days now. Have tried many things, but still no luck. I would like to burn a ps2 game on my Mac, and then play it on my ps2.

I have a flip-top and swap magic 3. I use Toast 7 as my ps2 burning program. I burn a game by simply doing the DVD/Copy option.

I am not sure how to patch a game tho. I have tried using a program called Gumbo, but couldn't get what I typed into that program to stick with the .toast files I created.

Can I bypass the patching a game if I buy a mod chip? I'm looking at the PNP plug and play sodderless chip. Would that allow me to just burn a copy of the game and then play it? Or does it still need to be patched somehow?

Please help!
