I am trying to backup sone of the newer release movies, and I keep getting the same problem. I am using decrypter and dvdshrink. When it comes time with shrink to burn the movie after encoding, it stops because it says to insert the proper kind of media. apparantly my computer thinks the blank dvd is a cd format. I tried again with an older movie, (less cryption maybe?) and it worked fine. is this some new kind of trick to prevent us from copying it??? or is there just something wrong with my dvd drive?

u could try updating ur firmware. try these links....http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters...and...http://forum.rpc1.org... this doesnt help try using dvdfabdecrypter. its free and avaliable right here at ad.
