What is the best Dvd-r media for my Sony DAV-S400 player

Hi people new to this forum
Can you people help. I have a Sony DAV S400 dvd player and wanted to know what dvd-r media is the best to use for my player.
I have used Hyundai dvd-rs i burnt them ok but when i played them in my player the picture freezes or skips a chapter.
What is the best DVD-r to use.
Also are printable dvd-r any good.

Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim...the reason for the picture freezing/skipping is because Hyundai brand dvd-r's are very poor quality...the manufacturer on them is sub-par, hence the problems~ :)

try some TYs (Taiyo Yuden) or Verbatim, you should be much better off using good quality media~ :)
