Help identifying a mod chip

A friend of mine had an Xbox that wouldn?t start so he bought another one and let me have the ?broken one?. When I got home to my amazement the thing already had a chip in it. So he later tells me that he tried to install it but could not get it to work (he didn?t do it right is my guess). So I opened the Xbox to see what he did and it all seems to be right. I have modded three boxes before but I have never seen a chip like the one in this system. There are no signs on the chip to identify it, no brand or name, nothing. So I believe that if someone can help me find out what chip it is I can reinstall it correctly. The Xbox is version 1. H ere are some pictures:

hmm..no idea. Apple X maybe? It looks like it has pogo pins for a solderless application.

One thing I do know.

The other thing the controller ports plug into is a daughterboard. They are only for 1.0's and are in all 1.0's. When they revised the board, they built the plugs for the ports onto the main board and got rid of the daughterboard.
