Okay, the first copy wouldn't even load... you would see the first few screens that display the developer and things like that but the game would never load. So, I burned it again. This copy loads, but the game skips REALLY badly. Since all of the menus have that crazy animation in the background and music playing it makes it extremely hard to navigate through the menus and/or save the game. When I get into the game it plays just fine, but when on menus or trying to save after completing a mission it's really bad. Has anyone else had this problem with battlefield 2? Other games are working just fine. I might try rebuilding if it will help any. Do you think it would?

What speed are you burning at and what media are you using?

This game works flawlessly for me with no rebuilding on SM 2.0 and SM 3.6. I burned it at 4X on Memorex. Not the best media, but its what I had at work. If I were you, I'd try better media and make sure it's DVD-R.

I burn all games at 2.4x that's the only speed it allows. I use maxell DVD+R discs for all games too. Dvd+r's work well on my ps2. Like I said, most other games are working perfectly. It just seems like the ps2 is trying to read a whole lot of information at once on the menus because of that spinning animation in the background and music and everything. It took about 10 minutes to get through the menus to start the game, because of it... :/ When finally in the game it plays fine, but the menus and set-up videos and audio for the missions are completely ruined so it's pretty bad...

hey, dude i'm having the same problem, but not as severe. I am burning at 1.9X on verbatim-r's and it takes like 5 minutes to get through the screens to play and the same with saving. yeah the music is all f***ed up. like a minute later the game gets everything it wants to say out and your already dead because it took so long for it to say "Incoming Snipers"

I am Lord Bladerzor.
