Swap Magic 3.6 start from HDD

i play my backups always from my hdd. this is normally no problem, but now i want to start the swap magic 3.6 DVD also from the HDD. it works till the logo appears on the screen and then it stops with a black screen. what can i do or what shall i change?

do you load your HD program with a cd or a dvd?

my program loads from the memory card and can only start when i have a ps1 game (FIFA 2000 in my case) in. but my HDD is nearly full and so i have to burn some on dvds. but my orginial swap magic dvd doesn't work, so i want a copy of it on the hdd, and will start it from there.

Thats probably why its not working. You load the program with a cd and the swap magic dvd expects the toc to be dvd. You could put the swap magic cd on the hd, then use an original ps2 dvd game to refresh the toc for dvds.

sorry for more problems, but when i tried to load this progarm to my hdd, it says SOURCE DRIVE IS INVALID. i use the program USBextrem to load things to my HDD. So i haven't a program on my HDD to start backups without "swaping" disc....

quick question, i use hdadvance 3.0, and i was wondering if it was possible for me just to save the swap magic cd/dvd to my hardrive and boot swap magic through my harddrive and use it to play burned games???
just to clear it up a bit:
i load the hd advance and use it to save the cd/dvd versions of swap magic to my hardrive. so next time i start up my hdadvance it will show that swap magic is saved on my hardrive. i start swap magic (from my hard drive), then remove my hdadvance disc from my ps2 and then put in the burned game, will it work???? thanx for the help.....
