If the disk isn't damaged in some way, rip the disk to your hard drive with DVDFab Decrypter and then use DVD Shrink.

There are many other things that could be done but this should work.

Here's some step by step guides:

Where the disk is from shouldn't make any difference. This is a 2002 title and shouldn't have any special protection (unless it's a re-release). Did you use DVDFab Decrypter to rip the disk to your hard drive? Did that work? If not, try DVD Decrypter for ripping. Repost and tell us exactly the steps you followed.

Does the disk have an obvious scratch or other defect? Does it play without any problems in a standalone player? Does it play without problems in the DVD drive?

I suspect there may a small defect in the disk. Standalone players are designed to be rather robust in their treatment of read errors. Unless egregious, they are ignored and the disk plays on. DVD drives have no such tolerance built in and are very susceptable to even minor defects. Have you tried a different DVD drive to rip just as an experiment? You could also try DVD Decrypter again with the "Ignore Read Errors" option checked to see if that gets you past the problem.

Off hand, I would have to say that "It Doesn't Work" has become your mantra, halotrail. Of course, you never manage to say WHAT doesn't work, so we really have no clue as to what YOUR problem is.

Just for shits and grins, WHERE did you get the disk?
