I have a movie, and want to take a clip of it and put it on to my phone. Using MPT. I clicked on the movie under the Video studio, and hit play. But it says "video codec in this avi file not supported". Is there a way to get a codec for this? What are my options?

Search google for converters of .3gp The razr uses the .3gp format as opposed to .avi


Once u get a program that will convert it, you can edit the clip to the length you want with a program called TMPGenc and then convert the .avi file to a .3gp and upload to your phone.

I've never done this, but it will work.

You can probably find links to TMPGenc in the 'video conversion' section of these afterdawn forums.
