so you need the measurements? you can just measure the disc itself. use a ruler

then in the software itself, you can go under your FILE-->INNER / OUTER... then set it to that..

and what is the id on those dvds? i dont know if those are quality media..

any input doc?

With all due respect, thegood16, read what thelox714 said. All discs are different. Measure the thing, follow the very clear instructions he gave. (And it's non, not none hub-printable.) :-)

As the others have said - each brand can be a little different. Examples: Verbatim - non hub printable 41mm inner 118mm outer, Taiyo now are 42mm & 119mm. The ruler didn't give me an exact measurement though - played around then saved the settings for the different discs I used.

it's about giving them a "trial run" as see which settings work the best for YOUR setup, as the "ruler" rule is generally a GIVEN, i don't do inkjet printables anymore...so, i wouldn't know...

lastly, the Arita inkjet printables were mentioned in a thread somewhere about a week ago where gurnard and myself TACKLED the prospect of them being "good quality" or not since "Arita" were supposedly one of Ritek's OWN branded media (in Europe mind you)..but, comments and experience from other members have proven otherwise with the Arita's being "any good at all" :) they don't seem to "hold water" to Ritek's usual "quality"...i haven't tried any PERSONALLY, so i am going based on FACTUAL evidence that Ritek manufacturers all the Arita branded discs, however, the few comments about the "quality" of the Arita were very disappointing...i'll find that thread and link it here in a bit...

docTY~

edit... BAM...here u go~ quite a lengthy convo. about the consistencies of Arita branded Riteks~ :)

i stopped on the inkjet printables only because it was taking me TOO long to create them...i'm already hard pressed for time, so, printing all these dvd covers was not worth it to ME personally for the limited time i already DON'T have~ :)

i had no problems with them and i admit, they came out REALLY good...i have the R300 by Epson too...and i prefer the silver inkjet TYs for that "holographic" look...just not time efficient for me...i prefer my Sharpies and 5 sec. DONE~ :)

docTY~

haven't checked meritline in awhile, their server might just be down...no worries~ :)

I use the silver inkjet TY's also - the only bad thing is I have yet to find any hub printable ones - all are non hub.
I just tried meritline and get a 'could not be found' error through FireFox so who knows.

@kivory666

The key is to hire a chimp, buddy. For the price of a bunch of bananas a day you get a well-trained primate who can "man" your R300, maybe even change the inkjet cartridges. Plus, if anyone tries to steal your discs when you're at work the little bastard will bite the hell out of them ;-)
