Hi all,

I want to backup my DVD collection to my hard drive. I'm using WinAVI to rip my DVDs. I'd like to be able to watch them directly from my HD. The copies are saved in 20min sections - so it's not possible to watch a film from start tio finish. Is there any way to convert the files to a single file?

well you could always load the dvd files into power dvd and play them that way

Create a new folder and name it then put all your DVD files for that movie into it. In your DVD player simply select this folder from the 'play from file on HD' option (as in Power DVD for example) and the whole movie will be played.

You can also rip the files with DVD Shrink to compress them before putting them in a named folder. That way you save on HD space.
