Blue Discs with SlimLines

I bought a secondhand SlimLine recently and I tried putting in a Blue Disc (G1 Jockey 3). When it tried to play it, the system would make wierd reading noises. I just want to know are slimlines known to have difficulty reading blue discs?

Slimlines have problems playing most types of discs some people have never had problems with them other have had nothing but (me being one of them) havent tried a blue disc but chances are your version does have problems with them or it might just be that disc. The main reason it was second hand is prob because someone had problems with it and decided to sell it.
