I try to use the dvd decryptor before dvd shrink and it says no devices found what does this mean

Do other programs see your burner/rom? or is it just DVD Decrypter that is giving you problems? If you could provide us with as much info as possible it will make it easyer for us to help you out =)

it reads it everywhere else but just not on dvd decryptor. I personally already have dvd decryptor and shrink and works just fine but i tried to put it onto my moms and she bought an hp external burner and it reads under sources: No devices Found! there is nothing there to click to search for it or anything. please help!

Can you find the drive under Settings>Control Panel>System>Hardware tab, and click on device manager. Search for the external and make sure it is working properly.

Is it USB? 2.0?
