No. I searched the item on eBay and one seller claimed that you have to copy from memory stick to hard drive and vice versa. Basically, you can't run anything staight off of it; its like a portable computer if you may. Its useless unless you have at least a 2 GB memory stick because then you can carry all of your iso's.

I have a 12 inch powerbook but i still would rather have one of these portable HDs. Im running out of space in my laptop, about 12 gigs left. You guys know if theres a better portable HD, as in a better deal?

If you want 200GB actually for the PSP, get a Datel MAX X2 4GB PSP HardDrive, which connects to your MemStk slot with a cable. It uses CF/Microdrive cards. If you open it with a screwdriver, it already has a 4GB MD in it. Buy a 200GB MD CF and you have 200GB for t3h PSP.
I was told to change my sig so I did this.

People please dont make this mitake. The people who made the Datel HD themselves have mentioned it is virtually impossible to hook anything over a 4GB HD on any PSP. Why you may ask. If you all have noticed that the psp flash mem runs on FAT not FAT32. It is impossible to have FAT over 4gigs. So dont go and buy the 6GB HD cards, stick to the 4GB.
I know you're good but I am better.

Damn Right Sister, except for the FAT thing, in the update, SONY say they are going to make it so they can make compatible 8 gig MMC's
