Trying to get an Mpeg movie to DVD need help!!

I have downloaded some movies that are in Mpeg format and I am trying to get them on to a DVD -R format.. I have already downloaded TMPGEnc but I dont know what I should do from there I dont know which settings to pick? Any help would be MUCH appreciated...thanks a lot!

I used to use TMPGEnc. Now I mostly use VSO DivXtoDVD to convert videos to dvd compliant format, then burn with e.g. Nero. VSO is both fast and very user friendly. You can add several videos at one time (just keep adding before hitting 'convert'):
