when the game loads on swap magic 3.6 it first goes to a black screen and sits there for a few minutes, then it goes to a loading screen with a rotating circle on the bottom right for a few minutes, then it goes "sony entertainment presents..." sits there for a few minutes, then it goes to the main screen where you can choose new game or load game. You click new game and it freezes for a few minutes then starts a cinimatic thing. When the cinimatic is done, it restarts and does it all over again.

I was told i didn't have to rebuild shadow of the colossus, I have tried rebuilding it, but the rebuilt ones didnt even read to be valid on my ps2, and I'm getting very frustrated.

Plus, shadow the hedgehog is not a valid disc on my swap magic 3.6. I'm new and they are the only ones i have tried, please help!

what burn speed are you using? i ALWAYS burn ps2 discs at the lowest possible speed. I have colossus and it works fine burned at 2x.

i burned it at 2.4x

i cant figure out whats wrong, i even reburned it and the second time i burned it I kept getting "not a valid ps2 disk".

what brand of discs are you using? was the iso from a download or did you use DVD Decrypter to extract the iso from an original?

i downloaded it with bitcomet off of torrentspy.com, discs are Maxell DVD-R 8x's...

your ps2 probably doesn't like maxells. to be honest they are a crappy brand. i have had no problems with memorex, fuji, sony, or tdk. if i were you, i'd pick up some fuji discs, those are my favorite, and i'll bet you shadow works.

I also downloaded the game... didnt rebuilt it... used TYG02 media.. used DVD Decrypter x1... with SM 2.0
