I followed the instuctions at swapmagicfix to get the memory card exploit to work on my slim ps2 using swap magic 3.6. But when I went to burn the disc (step 3) with dao/sao mode I ended up with 2 errors "send cue sheet error" and "invaled feild in parameter list"
So I then tried to burn it in raw dao mode. the image will boot up with the swap magic cd and it will say that the istallation is complete. But there isn't anything new on my memery card and it won't boot into A white screen like it says in the guide. please help this is very frusterating I only have 4 tdk cd's left and right now I don't have enough money left to buy more.

I have racked up over 350 hours playing pokemon red. 200 hours on gold. and over 100 on ruby. That's right I'm proud of that

Could you try it again and go to where your .cue file is? Change your .cue file to a .txt and open it up.

You may have to mess with your settings in windows to do this, but it's no biggie.
1) Open up any folder and at the top, got to "Tools" and then "Folder Options..."
2) Go to the "View" tab and then uncheck the box that says "Hide extensions for known file types."

You may not need to do this if the option is already disabled.

Copy and paste want was in the .txt and i'll instruct you what to do from there. Be sure to change the file back into .cue

The reason i want you to do this is that you might have one of your files in the wrong place. What the .cue file does is say where all your files are and how they should be burned.

Now that i think about it, i think i had the exact same problem sometime back with the computer not being able to find the file...

Go to where you have the imagen.bin file saved and make sure it is in the same folder as your .cue. Right click on it and go to properties. There will be an area that says Location: on it... Highlight the entire file path and right click and copy it.

Go to your .cue file and change it back into a .txt. Open up the file and add the file location that you copied to the front of imagen.bin. Be sure to include a "\" between the folder and file names. Save your work and change it back into a .cue.

Your computer should now be able to see were the actual file is and burn it without a problem. Let me know how it works out :)

Okay I updated My file so it looks like this

FILE "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\mem card\New Folder\imagen.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

But it still won't burn in dao/sao mode (same errors) . So I'm assuming that it still won't work. I'm going to try and transfer my image to another computer and try it again. I'll post again when I'm done

Okay I burnt the files on my old win98 computer using 120 dao/sao mode without A hitch no errors or anything like that. It says it copied all of the file to the memorycard. But it still won't boot. And No new files were added. Would I even be able to see them if they were? Because if I can't then maybe I just added the wrong Disc I.D or something.

P.S I updated the cue file with the new folder setting before burning it

I have to admit that you slus looks kinda weird... I don't remember ever seeing an slus starting with a zero, but then again, it is a PSX game... Can you see that slus on the game itself?

If that is the correct number, you need to put a decimal in it. It should be read as 003.30

Well, On my disc it says SLUS-00330 But I used "DiGiTaLeX's title ID getter" and it said it needs An _ and at swap magic fix it said That You may need to use and underscore even if it say minus on Your disc. So I assume it's correct. I can use this exploit on slim PS2's correct?

I was thought it sounded weird when you said you were doing the memory card exploit with a slimline... When saw that you were using the new swap magic version, i figured that it was something new that swap magic developed.

You could always make an HDLoader boot CD... Just use your swap magic to load it.
