I don't really know where I should ask this but..

Whenever I download a movie off of limewire I can't play it on my computer.. it says that it is the wrong format or something along those lines. Is there any way that I can play it or is it a bad file?

I have tried it with mpeg files and avi files and I get the same result

It says that it is MPEG format, but when I try to play it with creative player it says "Unable to recognize the format of this file."

It might be a codec issue.. I'll try to fix it

Try using Windows Media Player to play it, that works fine for me
