hi there I'm a noop, I've read the guide for the AR + swapmagic but it just doesn't work on me, the game I wanna cheat is "Spartan total warrior" and I got the codes by updating the AR online.

I'm using: a PStwo slim silver with the 3 tools installed, a backup copy of max AR (it loads perfectly with the swapmagic CD, I even got the updates online as I just said), a backup copy of Spartan total war.

here's what I do step by step:

1) I boot the swapmagic CD in order to load the backup copy of the AR.

2) when the AR loads the graphic I pull out the tool above the reset button in order to stop the CD from spinning.

3) I insert the swapmagic DVD and put the tool back on, and let the program detect it, it automatically goes to the expert menu where I can pick the codes I need, I pick the Spartan TW codes and press the start button.

4) the swapmagic DVD is already in, so when I'm asked to make sure the DVD game is in I just click the X button.

5) as soon as the "launching game" black screen appears I pull out the memorycard, and wait for the swapmagic DVD to boot.

6) Now I normally swap as I'm used to do, and insert the backup of Spartan TW.

by following this procedure it keeps going to the broweser whether I pull out the memory card or I leave it in during the "launching game".

if I pull it out the browser says "no data", if I leave it in it goes to the memory card menu.

can anybody help me with this issue? am I doin' something wrong?

thanks for the attention

same here, I don't think there's a solution at this point, but if someone knows it don't hesitate to post it here.

i have the same problem.. EXCEPT i can cheat on cd games... armax doesn't work with dvd games for me... i've tried the special boot regular boot.. and even a armax evo... i e-mailed the staff at swap magic asking about whats wrong... and they said that.. the latest version of gameshark should work.. and they said that weren't too sure about armax... i think the previous versions of swap magic were compatible..

I heard the previous versions of swapmagic worked with the DVD loader, but I have the 3.6 so there's nothing more that I can do I guess, anyone can confirm that the last version of gameshark works 100%?
