i have copied stealth and kaena the prophecy. both movies copied with anydvd running with dvd decrypter,smartripper,clone dvd2,and dvd shrink.everyone of these combinations still has the same end result. the same portion of the main movie has no sound.example kaena the prophecy has 3 main movie files vts_01_1 vts_01_2 vts_01_3 and every time i use any 1 of the mentioned copy methods vts_01_2 is the only part of the movie that has no sound.please help me somebody!!

CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD worked fine for me with Steakth and Madagascar.

i am doing stealth widescreen special edition if it makes a flying f#$%.
both movies i am trying to do have no subfolders when they are done either.all dvd's i have copied have had the main folder/name of movie and inside that folder there are 2 other folders named audio_ts and video_ts audio being empty and video having all the goods.these sony movies after copying just have the main/name folder then all the goods are right inside that one.

ok i was trying to play the video files straight from the hd.so i just burned to DVD-R and the whole movie has sound. dont know how but if anyone has the answer please let me know.persistance f@#%ing pays i love it.someone please do me a favor and play the first main file in stealth straight from the hd and tell me if yours has sound.. thank you.....

Use DVDFab decrypter. That usually works when all else fails.

Yeah, my Stealth has sound. Just in case anyone is interested, I ripped the Widescreen version of this movie using DVD Decrypter Version 3.1.0.0. here are the details:

To use the PSL, copy and paste it in Notepad and then save it as "Stealth.PSL". If you get a text document, then you are saving as text, make sure you are dong all file types.
Both ways work, just make sure if you use the PSL file, you also read Cynthia's guide:

Go to the "Remove Crap" Section.
Also, If you plan on burning to a DVD5 with DVD Shrink, read the first link I posted because Shrink will not be able to compress this movie if you rip with a PSL. Also, use VobBlanker to Blank out every VTS except for VTS_01, which is the main movie.

man this sony crap is strange. i just copied kung fu hustle to hd and played is straight from hd only 1 chapler had sound. so i burned it to DVD-R and watched the whole movie with sound. doesnt make any sense.

Dude! This works!
Just burned 3 sony movies in a row with it and AnyDVD in the background.
I tried the other guys ideas (clonedvd2 with AnyDVD, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, etc) and nothing worked for me.
Downloaded dvdfab express and it worked flawless!
Faster too!
Why aren't more people talking about dvdfab for the sony discs?
imho it works great.

You can also use DVDFAB Decrypter (as opposed to DVDFab Express). DVDFab Decrypter is FREE. You can find it when you go to DVDIdle web site, look down at bottom of page for FREE STUFF, and you'll get download info for Decrypter. Be sure to get latest version-v 2560 I think, as previous version was hanging up on Stealth.

I belive dvdfab decrypter and dvdfab express are the same now.
I got the free 5.9.6.0 version and it says dvdfab express on the program window.
Anyhow it is a great program.
Madagascar- No problem
Christmas withe the Kranks- no problem
Layer Cake- no problem
