A while ago I was able to set up my computer which has SBC yahoo dsl to be able to search the internet at the same time I was running a cable through a second network card onto my ps2, and I was able to play. I still have everything hooked up but I think I messed up the LAN settings and now I can go online on the internat but when I try to play the ps2 inline it cannot connect. If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help me!!!

check to see if you have ICS (internet connection sharing) enabled on your first NIC. What IP settings do you have on your NICs? are you using a crossover cable to connect from NIC to ps2?

thanks for the reply.I have an onboard network card and I installed another so i have 2. When i enable internet sharing i can no longer access internet from my host computer. I believe i am using a crossover cable.

I am still looking for anyone who can help me set up my ps2 to run online at the same same time as my pc using crossover cable. I think i have the settings on my pc messed up. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Srry if i wasnt clear, but I thought i said I dont know what My IP settings need to be. I am using crossovercable and when I enable ICS weird things start happening to the connection on my host computer.
