I highly recommend Resident Evil 4 and Katamari Damacy. Two complete different games, but some of the best on the console.

there really aren't any that are real similar to GTA
but Total Overdose is real close and a lot of fun
and there are a ton of others that are great games

Oh, you meant games like GTA? Well, there's Simpsons: Hit and Run. Though not as violent and more linear, it's similar in a way.

there is True crime LA and True Crime NY, they are sort of similar to GTA because you can wander the vast cities killing and beating up people. Plus you can drive some sweet cars.

Mercenaries is a gta style game (set in a war zone).

i still say that Total Overdose is by far the closest game you will ever find to GTA.
It is like GTA in Mexico.

I think you have to pick a date that makes you over 18, if not it will block you even if you come back to the site to enter it again, at least if you pick USA flag.
The English flag let me right in without even asking.
Max Payne, Driver3, The Getaway, these are also good games
Note that if using Swap Magic that you have to rebuild this game (total overdose) to make a back up copy
