I only want to use it to backup PS2 and PSX games and such to '.iso' format.
Can Alcohol 120% create images in the '.iso' format?

Also, can Virtual Drive (Emulation) be disabled?

I have Nero installed which has it's own ASPI so would I need to install another for Alcohol 120%?

Alcohol will make your image a .mds/.mdf file so in other words no it will not make your image into an ISO.

yes you can, if you are refering to Alcohol then just click on the virtual drive tab to your left and select 0 (zero) in the drop down box for virtual drives.

Since you already have Nero and all you want to do is make bakups of PS2 and PSX games then Nero will do this for you.

I need to create images in the .iso format (if they need patchiing/rebuilding, etc as .iso is most universally compatible format). Nero can't do this (as least my version, 6.6.0.6, can't).

What software is best to create .iso images? Preferably free software.
