We will need to know some further information, was the DVD an original, what medium did you use, your burn speed and what programs did you use.

Firstly if it was acopy protected DVD then Nero alone will not allow you to burn it. I suggest you download a trial version (21 days) of AnyDVD by SlySoft and have that running in the background. You may also like to try DVD Decrypter which is also a free prog, heres a guide on how to use DVD Decrypter and burn with Nero http://www.dvdplusvideo.com, make sure you use good medium, steer away from Memorex or any CMC mag discs.

You'll also need DVD Shrink to compress the data in order for it to fit onto a DVD-5 disc.

@lotus729, assuming the file exceeds the 4.3 g size then you will need as Dakotafan said need DVD Shrink but if it doesnr exceed the limit then the progs I mentioned will work just fine. If you do need to reduce size then still go to the link mentioned and use the one DVD Shrink/DVD Decrypter.

All I can say about Memorex is that it is NOT the medium of choice here at AD, if you hang around long enough you will soon learn that Memorex has caused more burn failures than most. Its in the dye formula that is used, the good dye is Azo. I have not had any experience with their CDs, in most cases its where they are manufactured. By all means use them if you have them but dont expect a good burn rate. Another thing always burn at low speed around 4>6 speed.
