My original Polar Express Extended Edition F5G/Z28 38954 region 2, simply don't play on my computer’s dvd-rw, I tried another computer and the same thing. Usually I use AnyDVD 5.5.5.1 but for this DVD I also installed DVDfab, DVD43 and so on, result – nothing, I can’t see/play the dvd in explorer and none of this programs (including Windows) can’t see it. It is the first time when I this thing happened, I search on the net and nothing I’m from Romania and I guess it’s a new protection and maybe it’s only for E Europe, I don’t know if you have any suggestion please…
Thank you and excuse my English.

What's the brand of your DVD-RW drive? I had the same problem with Ice Princess a while back. I got it from eBay, but it wasn't the US Region 1 version. It was an all region DVD, but my DVD-RW drive (Lite-On) couldn't read the disc. I recently got a new DVD-RW drive (Plextor) and it can read the disc now. I guess some drives are picky.

My DVD Arsenal: BenQ DW1650 Drive, Plextor DVDRW PX-740A Drive, Nero 6.6.0.13, AnyDVD 6.1.8.4, CloneDVD2 2.9.1.2, DVD Shrink 3.2, DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0, DVDFab HD Decrypter 3.2.1.0, VobBlanker 2.1.3.0, RipIt4Me 1.7.1.0, FixVTS 1.6.0.3

I have 2 pc systems and a power mac G4 and three DVD-RW units: Plextor 716A, LG GSA-4163, and Pioneer on the mac , I don?t think the dvd unit model or manufacturer is the problem.
